I love ginger on my food. Homemade ginger tea (good for sore throat and cough), Pickled ginger or sliced raw ginger (before i sing), orange and ginger on fish fillet, ginger on beef or chicken broth soup (for fever or cold), roasted chicken rubbed with honey ginger thyme, and rosemarie herb (for my girlfriend's parents so I can visit often).

You should try thinly sliced ginger salad with Italian dressing. That is your usual salad mixed with julienned ginger. The mixture gives some kick to your salad. This is good for people with migraines, headaches, cramping, and importantly known to lower bad cholesterol.

Sounds like it would make a good accompaniment to a large lump of Alberta prime rib. Think I'll try it next time I barbecue.

We love to add some grated cheddar cheese.

We will have to try the garlic, it sounds nice.

But probably not with the cheese!

Brought to you from my super new iPad3 - as from 03/10/12

Grated cheese is a great idea too, never thought of that either

Cheese, ham or bacon and a little salsa is good on a jacket potato too.

    Getting hungry now!

Well that's just not right! You guys are so bad! My starving lasted until my sister-in-laws Pimms party at 4.30pm yesterday and then it was Pimms, Sex on the Beach, Woo woo's, etc... Hmmm! Interesting choice of words for these drinks. We had Sicilian spaghetti cake, roasted chicken, garlic bread, cheese, French stick, peri peri sauce, veg rice, with raspberry meringue, lemon meringue, strawberry fool, strawberries in rich sauce, fruit salad etc... Loads of other things but can't remember them all. Bang goes that cutting down. I belong in a huge family and the events are many. I have my own 22nd anniversary next Saturday so that will be another High Tea with scones, cream, strawberries etc... Party, party, party...
