Kids' birthdays are sure elaborate nowadays. My nephew, also 3, had a superhero cake with primary colors that involved Batman, Superman, etc., on various layers. I couldn't bring myself to eat so much primary color marzipan. It didn't look like food. It was like being served a box of crayons, lol.

Husband is out of town, boo, so I'm roughing meals. Just had an apple, walnut, feta, spinach salad. It went down fine, but now my teeth feel like sandpaper from spinach grit.
