I hate mozzies. I have to take antihistamines now. I found out I was allergic to dust mites and cats. Oh and horse flies. You can see the irony can't you? As I own all of these things.

To control flies, cut a 2 litre pop bottle, 1" from the rim, drop raw chicken into bottle, not a lot, then 1/2 fill with water.
Invert the neck that you cut off and tape to top of bottom half of bottle.
The chicken eventually starts to give off a smell, the flies climb into the bottle and are unable to fly out, then drown in the water.

Sounds confusing, but This picture shows what I mean with the bottle



Don't forget to remove lid from bottle before taping closed!! And never let rainwater create an overflow, it's best if the water is at least 2" below the screw top section
