My magnolia was magnificent this year! After years of being shaded by other plants, she is catching up fast!
My bed of Delphiniums which I grew from seed a couple of years ago are a foot or more high now so a good show is expected this year. My hostas have all had their slug pellets. Pesky snails and slugs. Hate them. I managed to save some geraniums/Pelargoniums from last year. Lost a few lavender so will have to buy some more. I lost the two Apricot Sage plants so I will have to replace them.
Garden is looking good after all this rain but could I have some sunshine as well so I can read my iPad on the patio! Please!!!

Our hanging baskets are fab. We bought some baskets with planting apertures in the sides. They are developing into floral balls.

I've almost completed the "fox deterrent" screen. The garden looks good fully enclosed.

About time we had photos Richard? I haven't started the hanging baskets yet. Never cast a clout till May is out! Having said that my pelargoniums from last year are outside. I have to watch for frost. Let me know if there is any.

Thanks to the good weather yesterday, I carried out a fencing project to screen off a hedge and unruly ivy at the foot of our garden.

This completes our fox deterrent works.

That is one beautiful garden Richard. I'd love my garden to be that tidy but my dogs, chickens etc... Wouldn't allow this. I'll see about some photos for you later. I'm hoping to start stripping my patio furniture and repainting. A job I have to do every year but due to circumstances last year, i didn't. Ho hum ho hum it's off to work I go. (painting that is)
