I'm glad, that my iPad is now in Germany already, because half of Germany's airports (and most other airports north the line Paris/Frankfurt/Moscow) are CLOSED.

This is because of the volcano ash cloud coming from the eruption on Iceland.
Most news-channels cover that, because no one can travel at this time. But also freight flights are canceled.

This will last at least another three days.

My Geology Group says it could last up to a year.

OMG, that would kill the economy worldwide

The effects could be felt in someway or another for the next year, but I don't think it will last much longer on the shutdown of the flights.

this volcano thing has screwed up the entire europe it seems.
all airports closed and all.
some of my relatives are stuck there due to this.
