Oh he is long dead. Beautiful animal though. I did feel a twinge of regret. Hubby was not so magnanimous. He loves those chickens. They are like his pets. All were named.

Culling in whatever shape or form is necessary for nature to survive alongside humans. I disagree with the culling of badgers. I don't know why more can't be done to control this horrible disease. Why kill badgers? They were there before the cow.

Here is Lexi, my 9month old chocolate Labrador pup taking a nap.
Such a typical lab, she is bouncy, chewey, inquisitive, playful (read naughty) and loyal.
Admins, I am sorry for starting a new thread, I didn't realise there was one already, I did a search and nothing came up. Hope you don't mind me posting another photo of Peaches and my others. I do have a hamster and 2 other dogs, but can't find photos of them.
Here is Georgia
Here is JackBoe
Here is Peaches
Here is Honey
How funny! She is lying the exactly the wrong way over that posh & regal purple cushion! Why do they always do that? Blood rushing to the head etc. She looks lovely & butter wouldn't meltish :-)Originally Posted by axis

They are lovely pets, all of them!
Peaches the non-Piratical Parrot? He's beautiful and looks very intelligent and clever too if he's into Lego-building.
I will take one of Squawky asap. He can't compete in beauty or brains sadly. But he lives a happy life, so that's a plus.
Edit: Yes, I want to see the others too. How about using your iPad camera??

You have a large handful! Do they all get on with each other? The dogs with each other and two birds for instance?
Here's Squawky as promised.
He has his own stand but often prefers wandering around on the flat, carrying one of his "pieces of cake"...that's one of them by his foot. He never lets the dogs pinch any.
He has quite a large vocabulary, and he voices it frequently & very loudly. Most was taught him by his previous owner (Hornblower, so he tells me). He can and does say he loves you often but, well, he says the same to anyone who happens to be around!
The good thing is he will go to sleep when you tell him to. If we want to watch a video or something & I say "Night night" he will start to do a very effective snore, complete with the whistling in-between bit. He does that 6 times, each time getting quieter, then shuts his eyes and bingo! calm...
But if he hears any noise, or if you turn the lights on, he wakes up again sharpish & starts to chatter. We have to tiptoe silently around him, like a sleeping baby.
He can even do a little dance if there's music on. In fact he's lovable most of the time, except when he comes out with a rudery when we have friends visiting. What we put up with to pander to our pets.....
