I think she thinks she's found a new friend.

She also doesn't like cleaning herself much at all and does not dig holes for her business......quite an unusual cat in that way....hence the need to bathe her!

She hates her baths also.....we clip her nails first just to be safe!
Well oreo the (the cat) is a inside cat that sleeps on MY bed all day and is pretty much hers so she stays perfectly clean
The cat in pic under (her) cover is the cat I am talking about

I did a Google search for "scarves from dog hair" out of curiosity and came across several small businesses that sell products from cat and dog hair including one on Etsy. They look like really nice products, at least in the pictures. Some of them are quite expensive.

Well what do you know....that's amazing.

I guess they would be expensive as you would have to wait a long time to have enough to knit a scarf. I'm wondering how they would feel. Our cat has the most luxurious soft fur but I can't help thinking a scarf would be somehow itchy.

I'm all for recycling but don't think I would go this route.

But would you think twice if you had a pet sheep?

It's all about scale! (Well it is if you have a snake.......).

I did have a sheep once Gab! Well a lamb!

Someone asked my dad if he wanted some lamb.....he wasn't expecting the live variety.

But why not? It's similar to using wool.

Yes of course you're right....but somehow it's just not the same.

I've only ever thought of it in terms of my own pets and one day they will be no more......

Wouldn't like to have something made from my dead (touch wood) pet. :O

Did you make another lamb out of it's wool?
