TIPS AND TRICKS - for those of us who don't know!

restarting is the 1st course action as it solves manny a glitch issue, and is easy to perform by even the least technical minded (or interested).

My NYTimes app often needs a restart to refresh the daily news.

I couldn't tell you. I'd search the iPad Hacking section and if you don't find an answer post your question there. IIRC it's a common JB app.

I just discovered that the video player apps keep a copy of the videos that they play. If you use OPlayer, xyplayer, etc. and you seem to be using to much storage, check to see how many videos you kept that you didn't mean to.

If I do online banking transaction via iPad, I use that feature on the completion screen then email it to the payee ;).

The 'bubble' feature worth a mention, very useful to insert the cursor when editing, or to read a difficult bit if text, place finger where needed wait a second and the magnifying 'bubble' appears.

To expand the text press the home button 3 times rapidly, do again to restore normal size.

If using a small text panel, swipe with 2 fingers to move up or down.

If you have an open folder in Pages, when you switch to Mail to download an attachment and select "Open in Pages," the attachment will appear in the open folder.
