I hope someone can help me! I'm in the Chamber of Secrets & can't figure out how to kill the basilisk. I've tried jumping on the stone, but when I do the spell, the stone raises, but I don't. Thanks for helping!

Hi Everyone, I am a newbie who joined a while ago but suspect I posted my introduction in the wrong place, so will try again. I live in Sydney Australia and bought the first version of the iPad with WiFi - not 3G. I use my iPad mainly where there is secure WiFi so decided not to get 3G as this would mean signing up to another data plan from a telco. Instead I am planning to get an iPhone soon and piggyback off it when needed. I think a site dedicated to the iPad is great as I am sure I will have some queries as time goes on. Regards, Graham

Hi folks. I'm the gluefish. I've been the gluefish since my first bbs account in the late 70's. I'm a puter hobbyist and a professional software test automation engineer.
My other gadgets are: 2 pc laptops (one running XP and one running Hackintosh/Leopard), an iBook, a linux box with a virtual box running W7, a mac mini running Snow Leopard, a W2K machine running IIS for testing web stuff, and an android 7" tablet. Bout time for me to get an iPad and throw all that other stuff away? Anyway, I ordered a refurb iPad I from Apple on Friday, can't wait for it to come.

Just bought my wife an iPad2 (32GB with Verizon 3G) from Best Buy ans stumbled on this forum when searching for cases. This is an excellent forum and I have been reading non-stop since last night :). Thanks for all the hints/tips/tricks/suggestions.
