I have just updated to ios6 and updated the apple mail app. The delete mail seems to be replaced by an archive icon?

Where is the delete email icon?

Do you have to go "move" "trash"?

If you are using Gmail or similar, the default behavior is to archive instead of delete. In Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars you can turn this off and your delete key will appear instead of the archive button.
