New ipad owner having problem deleting from the facebook newsfeed on my ipad. Tried through safari. No success. Please help.

Tried swiping in the app? Both ways

You have to be in the Facebook app (or one the other apps),to use swipe to delete

Do you mean your status updates? Press on your own name to bring them up and swipe to the left to bring up a black and white X to delete.

Yeah I'm new with the iPad & idk if its my Internet because the only thing on any of my devices
Including my brand new pad that won't bring up is Facebook...not the app on my smart phone, browsing on my laptop & of course the app & browsing on the iPad....I honestly don't think it's my Internet...my ps3 & other browsing on h
This iPad ,laptop & smartphone work....so if someone could hum with a solution or just a theory I'd be thrilled.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean but if you go to FB through Safari, tap the post in question on the top right in line with the heading and a little downward arrow will show up. Press this and you will get some options, 2 of which are Follow a post or Hide. Hope this helps.

Same here bro...but it's on all my devices facebook apps & browsers...can't get even get on Facebook to see what's goin on....

It did same thing...worked earlier today now it's down again....Facebook never did this when I ran it on my laptop...plez fix these bugs for good....

We have had many members with issues with FB in the past week so I would think that it is a problem with FB itself and not the iPad.

Getting in touch with the Developer and advising them of your issues would be a good step in this case.

I sure hope they fix it real soon.
