I've had my first iPad2 for a few days, and it's driving me mad! When I try to order a new App, I tap on FREE and nothing happens. I click again, and again. . . and it changes to a green INSTALL. I click that, and nothing happens. I tap again, and again, and again . . . and it changes back to FREE. Having gone in circles like this for ages, eventually it may say DOWNLOADING. I'm asked to enter my password, which I do, correctly, and it says it's incorrect. Aaaaargh! Any suggestions, apart from extreme patience?

This is not the usual experience. I would start by getting the apple ID and password straight. You can't buy anything if they are not correct. As for the non-responsive screen, you may need to reset the machine to address that. It is not normal. Do you have an apple store nearby? If so, I'd take it in.

There's no way to adjust the pressure. Normal tapping should work fine.
