This is a discussion on Youtube icon within the New Member Introductions - Site Assistance forums, part of the Apple iPad Discussions category; I added the world clock to my iPad and in doing so my YouTube icon disappeared, help, how do I reinstall it....

    Youtube icon

    I added the world clock to my iPad and in doing so my YouTube icon disappeared, help, how do I reinstall it.

    I'm assuming you updated to iOS 6 in order to get the world clock. YouTube is no longer embedded into the OS. You need to download a client such as youplayer or Jasmine. You can also access YouTube with Safari.

    There is also a YouTube iPhone app that will work on the iPad as well.

    Not a real big fan of the youtube app by Google. Currently using YouPlayer until Google gets its act together.
    Facts are the first casualty of bad information.

    I use YouPlayer as well, it will play videos that YouTube says won't play on mobile devices.
