    How do I choose to use iCloud storage instead of local storage to download videos & movies?
    My iPad says I do not have enough local storage but I have plenty of iCloud space.

    If you purchased your movies and videos in iTunes, then they are ready for download again for free. They do not take up your iCloud storage.

    iCloud is not a general online storage service like DropBox. Instead it supports syncing all your devices and various other services. Storage of documents (any file type) is possible, but only if the app you are using implements it. That's up to the developer.
