New to the ipad forum

Hello my name is Ed im new to the iPad forum ive been a member on the other side of this forum for a couple years with my iPhone 4. Now im getting my very first iPad 4 i pre-ordered a couple days ago. i have a question when i ordered it said delivery 11/2 i know that's the day it will be released to the public so is that the day they will ship or the day i will receive it?

Apple usually ships pre-ordered iPads so that they arrive on or very near the release date. Until they run out, anyway. Then the shipping dates start to slip.

Warning: Even if/when you start seeing shipping notifications early (and you probably will) the parcel service is not allowed to deliver early. So don't get too excited over where the iPad is at any one moment. Unless someone messes up big time it will show up on time, maybe a tad late, but not early.
