Hi! I'm Karen from Louisville, KY. I've had my iPhone about a year, and now I have an iPad! 14 days ago. It's an iPad 3. I'm really having so much fun with it! I hardly can put it down!
But a question, please: I charge it using the charger and adapter it came with. The ipad does get a bit warm. The phone does that, too, but the adapter gets HOT! Nearly too hot to touch. This can't be normal.

That is normal for the adapter to become warm. Mine gets warm as well, sometimes feels nearly hot

If you feel it is way too hot, contact Apple. The adaptor should be covered under your 1 year warrantee.
Mine gets warmish, but I'd never accuse it of being nearly too hot to touch.
