Hello, all! I recently purchased an ipad 2 and am pretty inexperienced with it. I downloaded a pdf file from an email and now I can't find it. Please help Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

To have downloaded this PDF from an email you would have pressed on it and been given some options, one would have been Quick Look if you have pressed this to open it, this doesn't actually save it, it just let's you view it. Do you have an app that can save PDF's? If you do, you would have been given the option to Open In to select from any apps which can do this. Did this happen? If not you can just download iBooks which is free then go back to the email and press the PDF to Open In then select IBooks.
iBooks will then save it for you. Let us know if this has been of any help.
