I am trying to transfer my photos from laptop to ipad Please help!

Check out an app called Photo Transfer App. It takes all the fuss out of photo transfers, in any direction! Just have to have both the iDevices and PC on the same network.

You can, of course, use iTunes to assist. Plug your iPad in. Click on the iPad under Devices in the left hand column. Click on the Photos tab across the top. Check the Sync Photos button, and set the folder of photos you want to sync. Hit Apply, and you're done!

Of course, that is the express version. I think there is a thread that covers it with pictures somewhere here
