    Connect your iPad to the MacBook Pro using the USB cable. Open the Image Capture program on the MacBook Pro. All pictures and videos in the Camera Roll (and Imported Albums, probably) should show up for importing.

    Pictures that are in albums created/synced using iTunes will need another app. I like PhotoSync (no hyphen). There is an OS X companion app;; not needed but improves the interface.
