i keep getting 502 errors when trying to log in into facebook app.. I've been reinstalling, rebooting etc.. this has been going on for so long and trying to google for answers didn't really help.. i have the new ipad 16gb wi-fi.. all of the other apps work perfectly fine including safari.. help me fix this problem please

Facebook log in problem

I occasionally get the 502 error when going to Facebook directly (i.e. typing the f letter and selecting the address from the drop-down list). Also, tried using Favepad to sign in, it seems to me that it doesn't produce errors, or maybe it's just my illusion.
