My name is Andre aka Castos. I am technologically disabled and I hope that this forum will help me to be technologically abled. I however have a question: Why can we not get Angry Birds in South Africa?

I think because the application is restricted to your country due to copyright laws or such.

Each App store for each region varies quite a lot and this can be because of government restrictions, copywrite and also some developers will only make their apps available in certain countries, some, like the ability to phone people are only viable in these countries. You can always open another App store account for a different region to enable you to access these apps, so let us know if you are interested in this.

Hi Castos,
The angry birds and many other games are not valid on our store, the workaround is to create a Kenyan account as it accepts our credit cards. More info is available how to do this by using google to search locally , as I do not want to break forum rules by posting info here.
