My husband has just bought me my lovely iPad and I already have an iPhone I'm a little confused though, do any of the games sync between the 2?
I liked the idea of being able to play on both of the gadgets but that doesn't seem to happen.

And good morning to you. Welcome to the forum! It's good to "see" you and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Unfortunately, most games are not sync-able between the iPad and the iPhone. Even if they are universal games, your gameplay one is not carried over to the other; they are separate. So, all the points and levels are only to the individual iDevice.

Some games CAN be synchronized, but that is only because they are games that are designed to have the game on a server. For example, the game Words With Friends can be played on different devices because the game itself is on the developer server (you log in your account to access your ongoing games). The only thing the app on each of your iDevices is doing is providing a "window" to get to the game server.

I hope that clarifies things a bit.
