Thread: Happy to be here

Hi all, I'm a long time owner of an iPod Touch, and a six month owner of the iPad 3. Have learned a lot by just playing around, but am happy to have a place where I can get (and possibly give others) some help with iPad. For starters, how can I prevent my email from loading messages every time I open it? I tried to set load "manually" in Settings, but I still get about 50 messages each time I click Mail.
