Does anyone know which printers are compatible with printing from your ipad2. I have a canon pixma mp499

Just expand all sections and use the "Ctrl+F" (without quotes) function.

Also, I've found out that some third party apps (legal apps) also supply your iPad with capability of expanding the number of printers that iPad can be compatible with.

Printing can still be done from non air print capable printers, have a look at this link for the many workarounds there are.

The Canon Easy Photo Print app is compatible, but I think is limited to printing photos and possibly PDFs. Does have a scanning function though.

PrintnShare or one of their sister apps print to many wifi printers without a PC, and can also print to all shared printers via a PC add-on.
