I used to get a whoosh sound when sending and a ding when receiving emails. but they've suddenly stopped working.
Sound works ok for everything else. have checked in Systems and it looks as though they should still be switched on.
please help

Have you hit your side switch? Muting system sounds doesn't affect music, so it can easily be missed. See if there is an orange dot visible. If there is, it's set to mute.
