I would like some advice on how to connect two iPad dock cable together to make one long cable.

I've never seen anything that would do what you want. Nor can I think of any combination of other adaptors that would result in a longer cable that could be used the same way as the original.

It would be far easier to just use a standard USB 2 extension cable on the USB end. Get a quality one if you want to avoid poor charging speeds or problems connecting to the computer.
