Have problems receiving e-mails. Not all of the time but now it's been about a week, so have to use pc to get them. Any help fixing this problem?

Hi there--when do you notice you have trouble receiving your email. Just today, I had trouble receiving my email when I was on vacation. We were running on a MIFI hotspot and the connection were at times spotty and at times slow. I use gmail and yahoo as my accounts on my iPad.

Maybe a little more info is necessary.
