I'm not really sure you would do that, as I don't not have any movies on my iPad.
If you have any questions, the Search feature will be your best friend. If that doesn't work, just wait someone will be around with the answers you seek. With over 200,000 members I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

You will need to rip them to something like .mp4 to work on iPad. You can load them to the iPad through iTunes once they are converted.
The best free software is probably Handbrake.
CLOSING APPS: If an app has stopped responding or closes on launch, try the following: * Home screen * click the Home button twice * Tap and hold on the app * When it jiggles, tap the (-) to close it * Double-click the Home button and re-open the app
