Any ideas

Is it asking you to login to an apple account?

The domain that is asking me to login to is not aski g me for my apple account. I know what that looks likeand so I am a little cautious of this one.
I have the iPad manual but it has been of no help.
Any ideas?
So it's asking you to log into someone else's account? Is this on an app or through Safari? A lot of apps and sites do want you to register with them and set up an account, this annoys me no end, when all I want to do is have a look at what it's about.Originally Posted by laptop
I will normally just cancel out of it rather than provide any info first. But is this popping up at any time? I'm not too sure by your post. Can you give us more info on this...when it's happening...how often....then we can try to help you better.

What email accounts are setup on the iPad and are they working?Originally Posted by laptop
If you have gmail test it. I suspect Captcha reset is required. It's a gmail thing and a pain in the neck. Is it an Exchange prompt?

Background apps are hiding for good reason. Seek them out, close them. The world will be a better place.
It pops up at any time
If I did not know any better I would swear that I have malware.
Do you have GMail? Use other google apps?Originally Posted by laptop

Have you tried powering off the pad then turning it on again. It may then close/remove from RAM whichever app is requesting the login. Then you can monitor which app starts the request when you use it?
CLOSING APPS: If an app has stopped responding or closes on launch, try the following: * Home screen * click the Home button twice * Tap and hold on the app * When it jiggles, tap the (-) to close it * Double-click the Home button and re-open the app
Have tried that it then went away for a little while but now it is back.
