Am new here.

Well, am having a slight prob with my ipad (1) out of the blue....I am now not able to manually transfer my video files from my laptop to my ipad previous videos are still in my ipad though.

Seeing as you say you still have videos on your iPad, is there enough room left for more. Go to Settings - General - About and see how much is Available.
