So I recently went and treated myself to an iPad 2. My laptop has been on the brink for months, and I figured the iPad could do most of what I did on my laptop at a cheaper price tag. I was right!
In fact, as a musician, I've realized the iPad is also a very powerful tool for me. I thought it would be a good musical tool, but I'm learning that it can do even more. The future for musicians using the iOS platform appears very bright too.
There are still things I can't do on here (e.g. Play fully-blown games), but I obviously never expected that. I'm very happy that I took the plunge and bought the iPad. I'm sure this forum will help me out a lot.
