Pls help, I am trying to connect to facebook through a game but the keyboard won't pop up, what do I do?

Hi there-welcome!

Are you pressing in the text box?

Not sure if you have done this, but it's best to close the game app. Do this by pressing the home button twice. That will bring up the multi-task bar where you will see all the apps you have opened. Long press the game app to and press the red circle to close it.

Relaunch the app and try again. See if that helps.

Hi guys thanks so much for the welcome and the advice. I followed your suggestion but still no luck, you did teach me something new though, so thanks for that. Have even connected a bluetooth keyboard to my iPad, it works just fine for writing emails and stuff but still no luck when trying to login to facebook via Fairywoods Patisserie, have tapped text box. So it must be a bug in the game itself, have reported it but no response so far.


Am so glad joined the forum and look forward to learning and sharing knowledge about this awesome device.

If you have a bluetooth key oars and it is on you may lose the on screen keyboard until you turn the Bluetooth keyboard off. Also, if the iPad is asleep, accidentally pressing a key on the bluetooth keyboard will turn the iPad on and may erroneously enter passcodes. Try turning off Bluetooth and I bet your keyboard comes back.

Hi Stormborn, thanks for that. I only connected the keyboard after trying everything else and still could not type in the text box. Have disconnected the keyboard completely now. My keyboard pops up everywhere else just not when I am in that particular app.

It could be you need to reinstall the app. If that doesn't work, the app is buggy and the developers need to fix it

Have reported it to developers as well as Facebook, waiting for a response. Thanks again
