Hi there, just got my iPad yesterday and having much fun playing around with it. I am new to the iPad, this being my first one and I was wondering what antivirus I should have on. I have read somewhere that it is not required but surely this can't be the case. Here's hoping someone will help me. Many thanks.

The way IOS apps are designed without any program being able to gain total control of the device, and with the strictness of the app store on applications they will host means that unless you have your iPad jailbroken you do not need a antivirus program.

Zphone is correct here, there is no need for any virus protection at all.
