Is there an App which enables you to password protect an App of yor choosing.

I am trying to find an App which would enable you to either group a set of Apps together or individually and lock access off to them in some way. This would ensure that I could allow my 4 year old to play with the iPad unattended without for example gaining access to YouTube and accessing inappropriate material. So far I cannot find anything but I'm sure this would be a parents dream app if it existed?

Unfortunately, there is nothing available for a stock iPad. If you were jail broken, there's a tweak were you can individually lock an app or lock and entire folder.

    But, no, nothing stock.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

You can set up some restrictions though which will hide the icon, go to Settings - General - Restrictions. You will need to set up a 4 digit Passcode, so make sure you remember it.

2 very informative threads from which you will learn many tips and shortcuts for the IPad.
