If you visit their website they explain which platforms are supported for WordsWithFriends. I think it 's possible,you can ask more people who is a apples,they always can help you solve this problem,but I'm very sorry I can't help you! I just no a little about the ipad.

Yep, she can play via Facebook, although she may experience some delays in receiving your plays because it only polls the WwF servers every 15-30 seconds to check for updates
