    Hello, I'm new to this site. Just bought my I pad 2, love it! Trying to find out if I need security to start with, but I know I have to look round the site before I post the question!!!

    Hi Annie, and welcome to the forum.

    If you take a look at my signature, you'll find a link there for downloading (for free) the manual for your iPad.

    If by security you mean anti-virus software, don't worry. The iPad doesn't need it. It is designed in such a way that apps are safe from each other. Still, don't take my word for it. Take a look around the forum, particularly the Hacking section, and see what others have written. Don't be put off by the Hacking term. It's a section for people who like to jailbreak their devices, and everything on there is 100% legal.
