Hi I am a new user and am looking for some ideas re the best option printer to buy for air print. Can now print from my iPad via the computer but want a basic stand alone printer which I can access directly from my iPad without having to have mt computer switched on. Any ideas. Thanks.

I bought a new printer only a month ago, a HP Photosmart 6510 and it prints straight from the iPad, no computer involved, which is just great for me. I purchased it at an Apple store as they had a special deal at the time when I also purchased a MacBook Pro. There were quite a few different models available which all printed straight from the iPad.

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad. There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.
