    Talking Hi, I'm new!

    I'm posting this from my son's iPad 1. I've fallen so deeply in love with it, that I now am waiting for my iPad 2 to come in. I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all. My name is Loriann and I live in Texas. I'll be telling my son about this site too. I'm thinking he'll be joining soon!

    There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

    Remember, search is your friend. If you can't find the answer you need and you post a question then give as much info as you can to help members help you i.e. iPad 1 or 2, iOS version and name of app if the problem is with a specific app........and please don't forget to read the rules Forum rules - everybody please read!!

    These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) HACKING SECTION RULES - please read.

    You can download the manual for your iPad here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for both iOS 4 and 5.

    Thank ya'll for the warm welcome. I think I spent a good hour on the tips and tricks thread last night. Very helpful! As of this morning, my iPad is still in Hong Kong. I ordered a case with a smart cover off of eBay just now, which should be here the same day as my iPad. The excitement is building!
