    can i use air print using an airprint enabled printer that is connected to computer via usb.this computer is connected to a linksys router and the router is assigned to the printer also.reason iam asking is i read airprint is not for printers connected to computer by usb.

    USB and Airprint are two different ways of getting data from your computer to the printer. You generally would only to use one of those ways when printing something because you wouldn't want it to print twice. But if it is an airprint enabled printer, then yes, you can use airprint. try printing something short (a page with the letters "test" on it) and see what happens.

    i have the printer connected to pc by usb so i can print when using my pc. I also want to print using air print from my ipad2. this being said,my pc is connected to my e1200 router and my printer is a wifi capable printer .Can i remove the usb hookup from the printer to pc and still be able to print from both pc and ipad wirelessly?
