Hi I am new to this forum and have a question. I enjoy playing words with friends on my I-pad but lately the game will not update after I have made my move. Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I also play word and yes lately the game has been playing up a lot, we have a thread here all about it. The best fix is to close the app completely and then relaunch it, I find myself doing it a lot as I get a notification telling me someone has played but it doesn't load. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. Let us know if this fixes it, I know a lot of members have contacted the Developer about this problem, so hopefully an update will be available soon.
