    Greetings from lvschultz2; a noob to ipf.net.

    Hi all,

I am a 58 year old guy who has been steeped in the PC world for years, but new to the Mac/iPad world. I bought my wife an iPhone a couple years ago, and that was our first significant exposure to anything Mac (I am still using a Blackberry, and previously a Palm). Last July my wife bought me an iPad 1, and although I became an immediate fan, am only slowly getting into anything more than the most basic of functions. I found this site while looking for a solution/app for playing WMV and other video formats. I liked what I saw, registered, and am looking forward to tips and tricks to improve my iPad experience. I have not yet built a profile here, but am off to complete the task.
