I have had my iPad since Christmas and have had no issues re connectivity with my wireless network until this week. I am now finding that, when I wake it up in an evening, even though the wireless network icon is indicating connection, when I try to look at e-mails or go on the Internet, it doesn't connect. The only way I can seem to get it to work again is by telling it to forget the network but then reconnect it.

Any ideas, I am reasonably ok on computers but not at all "techy"!

Hello Martin - welcome to the forum!

When my wireless connection 'goes out', I'll start w/ the harmless basics: 1) Power recycle your router & modem (both may be one unit), i.e. turn off (or pull the plugs) on both; wait about 30 seconds or so, then re-power the modem first; wait a little and re-power the router - if that works, then you should be fine; if not - 2) 'Restart' and if not successful 'Reset' your iPad - directions HERE, if not familiar w/ the procedures.
