    Angry Auto-lock adjustment

I'm a new member. I need some help in adjusting the auto-lock. It is set to 2 min. & drives me crazy because I have to put in my passcode to continue after 2 min. Of inactiviy. The auto-lock icon is grey'd out. Does anyone know how to access it to make changes.
    Thanks in advance

    Frustrated!!

The auto lock feature can be altered under General in Settings. Mine is set to 15 minutes which suits me fine.

Is your iPad managed by your company?

If so this is a setting that can lock as a part of the iPad's profile. You won't be able to change it.

Thx for you input. Yes, my iPad is provided by HO. Having said that I would still like to extend the auto-lock time.

Is there any back door method of doing this?

HO has no interest in changing it. So I'm left on my own to resolve if possible.

No. Afraid not. You'd have to restore the iPad, which they would definitely notice. It would probably break your company email account as well.

The lock timing is part of the security settings for the iPad, so it isn't too surprising that IT won't budge on the issue. They would have to change their security policy/practices. You'll need a good argument to make that happen, something involving significant loss of money, time, or productivity; with facts to back it up.

I've been on both sides of that debate.

Thx again for your input. I will take it up with HO to see what I can do to convince them to extend the lock out time
