Hi! New member and fairly new iPad2 user here and have no previous experience of Apple hardware but lots of experience with Windows and UNIX systems. I already have Dropbox, Mindjet & Notability installed but am now looking for a remote access app. I'll be using my iPad2 fairly heavily for work purposes so it would be a big plus for me to have remote access to home/work PCs and share files etc. Logmein and splashtop HD are the candidates so far. Logmein's remote connection method allows the circumnavigation of a corporate firewall. Does anyone use Splashtop in a similar way via the gmail registration method? I don't have a gmail account but virginmedia.com email addresses are administered by gmail and I assume they would work if gmail does.
