Hi, love my new ipad2 everything works great except BBCiplayer which plays for 12seconds then I get a blank screen (apart from the pause/play symbols etc) but the audio is perfect. I have removed and reloaded the app several times, I have tried the same with the iplayer through safari and I have tried all sorts in settings. The demand5 channel and itv player work ok. Can anybody help please? Thanks.

I to am a new member with a problem with the BBC iPlayer app. It starts to open then goes blank. Any help to resolve this will be appreciated.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem and it is getting very frustrating..!! Since getting my iPad at Christmas, I can't say that the iplayer app has been great: I have also removed it, re installed it, but I must say tonight is really bad: keeps stopping, then carries on but only the sound and no picture. Exactly like what you are describing. Can somebody out there help at all? Thank you

I've just downloaded this app and played a show. It does pause and a Whirly comes up to show its loading more video. I then moved closer to my router and it's playing fine now. How strong is your Internet? I'm wondering if the problems are because of this. You need a good strong connection for streaming. Also is anyone else using your internet connection while you are streaming? Try closing the app completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. Let us know how you all go.
