Just joined after finally upgrading wifi iPad to ios5, what a nightmare that was, so if anybody having the same problem, contact me and I will post my solution

Hi there and welcome! As U.S. Transporter said about getting an ipad with the ios5 already on it, is so true. I, among a gazillion people took that leap of faith back in October for the ios5 update. It was exciting on the forum to see the hundreds of members posting their problems. For me, I was fortunate. I attempted twice, but could not connect. I called Apple and told me to wait. I did, and on my 3rd attempt later-it was complete. I remember doing the itunes update the night before (45 minutes) to save time. The ipad update each attempt took ~30-40 minutes for me, but have heard people waiting for several hours to full day for it to complete.
