Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Is the avi file in your camera roll? If it is press on it and in the top right corner you will see a box with an arrow, press this and it should give the option to email. Let us know how you go.

Hi...Thx for the reply. When I am in the camera roll area and viewing the video I can select the email option. However, when the video is preparing for email it appears to freeze. I let it run for at least 15 mins. The file size is 24mb.

That's quite a big video, but I have just fooled around with sending an email from mine and got a box about the video being too long and asking me if I want to send a clip, so if you haven't gotten that, the size mustn't be an issue. So I think the app is being a bit flaky and you need to close it completely and try it again. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it. It's a good idea to empty all of these out regularly to keep your iPad running smoothly. Let us know how you go.
