Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the eBay app for iPad as I can't refine the search for nearest first even when I'm signed in and have locational services turned on, is it something I havn't turned on or is it a genuine problem with the app itself, please let me know.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I don't know whether eBay does have location services, I just downloaded the app and it doesn't appear in my location services. Have a look in the app itself, press the wheel bottom right, it has a preferred site option. This may be all they offer for the app. there's also a support contact if you would like to ask them direct. Hopefully someone else will chime in here if they know more about this.

I've just had this problem too, one day I could refine by nearest first then the next the option was unavailable. I deleted the app and re-installed it and when I retried, it was fine. I hope this works for you too. x

:-( have you tried using the iPhone app on the iPad instead? I know it's not as good but might be better than nothing when you need to use the 'nearest first' option?
