Hi & welcome to the forum!
There are plenty of threads/posts on the topic of a 'broken/cracked' iPad glass - do some searching and you'll be surprised at the amount of info & advice!
BUT, this is not a DIY job although if you google, directions will be found - I'd suggest taking your iPad to an Apple store for recommendations - might even be replaced - surprises can happen? Good luck and post back your solution!
Hi and welcome to the Forum!
Regarding your issue, I would heed Giradmans advice and not try to fix yourself as this would void any warranty you do have. There are many threads on this, Apple was doing a one time replacement courtesy but this is not as widespread as it was but there are still members finding themselves very lucky indeed. Do a search.
