I'm a newbie to this forum so I want to say hi to everyone! I received an iPad for Christmas & have a question:

I am from the UK, now living in the US. When I got my new iPad I set it up using my 'UK' Apple ID. I've somehow managed to change my ID profile info to reflect my new location but my iTunes & Apps are still set to UK version. Is there a way to change those to the US version (I thought this would automatically happen when I amended my ID info) or do I have to set up a brand new ID?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

You will need to set up an account with the US App store, you can keep the old one too especially if you have bought apps from it you will still need to do updates when available. You will find that there will be different apps available in each store. Have a look here to set up another account, you can just do this with a US iTunes gift card but will most probably need to create another Email address though - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534
